Projection of effects in blast fragmentation

At present there are several tools oriented to the projection of the fragmentation to be achieved according to geological aspects and computational simulations that have been very useful.

However, the need for empirical evidence of the fragmentation to be achieved according to the Geological-Engineering scenario is that at MATGEO SpA we have developed a methodology that incorporates calibrated computational simulations that produces a blast in terms of Dynamic Stress (Shock Waves) and laboratory tests that recreate a blast, of several hundred MPA. Then, based on this, the fragmentation to be achieved can be projected according to the blast currently used or new configurations can be projected, in order to maximize its effects.
